as he did in Rothenkirchen
in former times.
Grandmother Malchen
Strauss came from the
neighboring community of
Langenschwarz, where a
Jewish congregation had
been existing for a long
time up to 1902.
The Hebrew epitaph on
her tomb reads as follows:
„Here rests a decent and
pious women full of the
fear of 'Ha Shem' and full
of purity.
All her endeavour was
directed towards pleasing
'Ha Shem' and people...“
