Father Abraham Strauss was
a livestock broker by trade,
a job which was common
among the Jewish people in
the countryside. He was
born at Rothenkirchen in
1884. It's the letter in the
background that he wrote in
March of 1939 to his eldest
son Feiber in Palestine.
