Big brother Feiber was born at Burghaun in 1914. He learned the trade of a salesman with his oncle Leopold Strauß in Leipzig , who had a oil store. As of December 1934
he was an apprentice of agriculture at the Jewish 'teaching-farm' Gehringshof outside Fulda. This 'teaching-farm' prepared young Jews for their immigration to Palestine. On July 15, 1936 Feiber left his hometown Burghaun in order to evade persecution by the Nazis. The new beginning in Palestine was not easy and he had to work very hard.
