On April 1,1933, a boycott was
launched towards all Jewish
businesses.
This meant that no ‘Christian’
customer was to buy anything in a
Jewish store or from a Jew! It is
said that a real pogrom was
unleashed at Burghaun with Jews
being beaten up, their stores and
warehouses demolished.
